Bitcoin Fails to Break $65,000 Barrier:
Bitcoin experienced sharp fluctuations last Wednesday after the US Federal Reserve decided to cut interest rates by 50 basis points.
Amidst these fluctuations, the digital currency managed to rise significantly, reaching $64,000 on Friday morning.
Despite a relatively quiet weekend, Bitcoin returned to the attack on Monday, approaching the $65,000 barrier.
However, the bears quickly intervened and brought the currency back to lower levels, causing it to drop by more than $2,000.
However, the bulls did not give up easily, as they managed to push Bitcoin back towards $64,800 in the last 12 hours.
However, as in the previous attempt, the currency failed to break the $65,000 barrier and is now trading below the $64,000 level.
Currently, Bitcoin's market cap stands at $1.260 trillion, but its dominance over other cryptocurrencies has declined to 53.8%.
