On September 25, the Moscow police in Russia closed a "cross-border" cryptocurrency exchange that pretended to be a travel agency and was suspected of helping customers transfer funds abroad. Police said the exchange processed about $2.2 million in cryptocurrency transactions for Russian customers and charged a 1% commission. The Ministry of Internal Affairs seized a large amount of cash, receipts and equipment during the raid. The police have filed charges against a "mastermind" and the case is still under investigation. The police are looking for other accomplices.
