#Eigenlayer S2 shows a terrible inefficiency in claiming the Airdrop -> Generating a tremendous loss in Fee and spending in a totally inefficient way.
All this is leaving unnecessary FUD that could have been avoided.
@eigenlayer S1 season 1 showed to be really efficient.
He concentrated all the LRT claims on his page in 1 single click.
The LRT reported the corresponding amount of each user of his platform and EigenLayer took care of everything to distribute the $EIGEN.
In season 2 Eigenlayer ignored the issue, got a bit lazy and made it easy, directly gave the Eigen to the LRT and let them take care of distributing it.
The result:
Something totally anti-ecological, spending dozens of dollars in Fee to claim Eigen for nothing on more than 9 platforms.
Collapsing the network x 9, increasing the cost of fees and gwei of the network.
It is not the same thing to have 200k holders claiming once than 9 times.
This mainly affects small investors, where one platform got 1 $Eigen, another 2, another 0.5, another 0.2, another 3, etc. etc. Where the cost of claiming costs more than the profit.
On the other hand, with a single claim, perhaps the small investor filed a single claim and gathered the 15 Eigen distributed among the 9 protocols.
The unclaimed tokens end up in heavy hands unfairly.
It is regrettable how the claim was made in this second edition, causing the chain to be cut by the weakest link.
The same as always.
They promote the flag of crypto for all, but when they execute it ends up being crypto for a few.
The S1 was impeccable, the work that Eigenlayer did.
My criticism is about the S2.
