• Telegram's fast-paced Hamster Kombat game has been heavily criticized by users for distributing the first season's airdrop days before its long-awaited release.

On September 22, Hamster Kombat announced that more than half of its claimed 300 million users could not receive the September 26 update. According to the project, 131 million players should receive tokens in the first season.

Hamster Kombat also announced that 2.3 million users have been disqualified for cheating, including the use of bots and multiple accounts in violation of the game's terms and conditions.

Since March 26, 2024, more than 300 million people have participated in Hamster Kombat. 131 million people attempted to land on September 26, and about 2.3 million were eliminated as cheaters.

Hamster Combat is a Telegram game in which users are rewarded for completing various tasks. The project has over 300 million users, but has also attracted players using auto-click bots: on GitHub, developers have created a number of Python-based tools for Hamster Kombat that allow players to automate all tasks in the game. Below is a list of the most popular tools.

Three-quarters of HMSTR's 100 billion tokens are reserved for the community. In the first season, 60 billion tokens will be distributed to the respective wallets. Recipients will receive 532.5 billion HMSTR at launch, and the remaining tokens will be subject to a 10-month vesting schedule. The remaining 15 billion community tokens will be reserved for the second season of Hamster Kombat.

Other HMSTR distributions scheduled for September 16 include 4% of the tokens for marketing initiatives, 4% for providing liquidity on exchanges, 3% for #Binance Launchpool stakers, and 0.13% for partnerships and grants. The team will also receive 8% of the offering volume on a 12-month vesting schedule starting next month, while the 6% allocated for grants and partnerships will vest over four years.

The announcement caused a negative reaction from many hamster fighting players.
