Binance, the world's largest cryptocurrency exchange, announced that it will list a new altcoin in futures.
According to the statement on Binance's official blog, Tether (USDT) margined futures will be launched for Aavegotchi (GHST) with a maximum leverage of 75x. It was stated that the GHSTUSDT contract will start trading on September 23 at 16:00 CET.
The statement stated that the funding rates could initially change every 4 hours between -2.00% and +2.00%. However, it was emphasized that these rates, maximum leverage and minimum transaction limit may change from time to time depending on market conditions.
This listing by Binance caused a sudden increase in the price of GHST. The altcoin gained 40% from $0.914 to $1.283. Afterwards, GHST pulled back a bit and is trading at $1.2 at the time of writing.
