Recent cryptocurrency whales:

1. Bitcoin (BTC): In September 2024, a large whale increased its Bitcoin holdings by $1.4 billion. These whales acquired Bitcoin from several exchanges, increasing their holdings from 2,625 Bitcoin on September 6 to 23,732 Bitcoin by September 20. This activity may be evidence of an upward trend in the market, as some consider it a sign of a potential upward movement in the price of Bitcoin.

2. Ripple (XRP): Ripple whales saw a significant increase in their purchases of the currency, purchasing more than 380 million tokens within ten days, worth an estimated $228 million. These purchases began when the price of Ripple dropped to around $0.505, which led to expectations of an imminent price increase due to this large accumulation by large investors.

3. Chainlink (LINK): Chainlink has seen the largest increase in whale transactions this year, with over 2,600 transactions executed worth over $100,000 each. These large moves typically precede a surge in the price of LINK, which has seen the price rise by 30% over the past month. It is believed that these moves could be a sign of a potential further price surge.
