An Ethereum whale profited handsomely by holding onto Ethereum through a prolonged bear market. The whale purchased a significant amount of ETH during a market downturn in 2022 and saw its value appreciate substantially over the following two years. According to blockchain analytics firm Look onchain, a wallet believed to be associated with the whale acquired 96,639 ETH from Coinbase in September 2022. This investment turned out to be extremely lucrative as the price of Ethereum recovered and surged.
