ETHEREUM TRANSACTION FEES TRIPLE DESPITE PLUMMETING ACTIVE ACCOUNTS
Ethereum’s transaction fees skyrocketed, more than tripling from $0.85 to $3.52 in just a few weeks.
Oddly enough, this fee surge comes as the number of active Ethereum accounts dropped 11% to a year-to-date low of 385,000.
With ETH burns spiking 1600%, driven by projects like Uniswap and NFT trading bots, the network remains costly despite fewer users.
