According to TechFlow, on September 22, CryptoQuant CEO Ki Young Ju posted on social media that the cryptocurrency industry should re-examine the contributions of Binance co-founder Changpeng Zhao (CZ), believing that CZ's achievements far outweigh his mistakes.

Ki Young Ju pointed out that emerging industries often face the challenge of mismatching intrinsic value with absorbed capital, leading to social criticism of industry leaders. He believes that as an emerging field, the cryptocurrency industry has also inevitably experienced such growing pains. Regarding CZ's four-month detention, which will end on September 29, Ki Young Ju said that this is not only a punishment for personal behavior, but also represents the pain of the entire industry's development process. He emphasized that Binance has played a key role in attracting global liquidity and has made an indelible contribution to the development of the cryptocurrency industry. Given that CZ has paid the relevant fines and the detention period is about to end, Ki Young Ju suggested that the industry should re-evaluate CZ's contribution from a more objective and forward-looking perspective.

Earlier news said that Binance founder Zhao Changpeng is expected to be released from prison on September 29 and is undergoing evaluation at the Reintegration Administration.
