According to Foresight News, the Aave community called for a cautious response to the proposal initiated by LlamaRisk to restrict WBTC. Marc Zeller, founder of Aave Chan Initiative (ACI), said, "The plan proposed by LlamaRisk is too harsh and we will not vote in favor of it. WBTC users are legitimate users of the Aave protocol, and ACI will not support any situation that harms them unless absolutely necessary. ACI is in favor of incorporating diversity and will support Aave to expand the list of tokens supported by BTC, including tBTC and Coinbase's cbBTC. It does agree with the part that limits the growth of wBTC by cutting the supply cap." At present, Aave has not taken any wBTC-related parameters offline or adjusted them.
