Xandeum to Unveil Scalable Storage and Staking Solutions for Solana at Breakpoint 2024
Xandeum, a blockchain storage layer provider, is set to introduce a scalable storage solution and liquid staking platform for Solana at Breakpoint 2024 in Singapore. This new technology aims to address Solana's current storage limitations, enabling broader decentralized application (dapp) functionality. The presentation is scheduled for September 20, 2024.
The solution, featuring "Xandeum buckets," integrates a scalable file system directly into Solana’s RPC nodes, managed by a decentralized network of provider nodes (pNodes) and Xandeum-enabled Solana validators. This low-cost storage solution could significantly expand the types of applications that can run on Solana.
Additionally, Xandeum will launch its storage-enabled liquid staking platform on October 29, allowing stakers to capture future storage fees and earn up to 10x boosted rewards. The XAND token will also be launched, with the first airdrop snapshot on October 8 and the official release on October 29.
While these innovations promise to enhance Solana’s capabilities, the broader market sentiment remains cautious. The success of these initiatives will depend on their adoption and the overall market conditions, which continue to be uncertain.
