TechFlow reported on September 19 that the official YouTube channel of the Supreme Court of India was hacked and used to promote Ripple and XRP-related scams. The channel has more than 217,000 followers, and hackers transformed it into a Ripple-themed account, broadcasting fake live videos and impersonating Ripple Labs CEO Brad Garlinghouse. The scammers promised unrealistic returns on investment to induce victims to participate. YouTube subsequently deleted the hacked channel. Such scams are usually accompanied by phishing links, and once users connect to their crypto wallets, hackers can fully control and withdraw funds.
