🌍[Blockchain Global Trends] Ripple executive: U.S. cryptocurrency is making slow progress, and the Asia-Pacific region has become a hotbed of innovation

Fiona Murray, managing director of Ripple APAC, recently stated that progress in the cryptocurrency field in the United States has been relatively slow, and despite some recent positive signals, the election is unlikely to bring significant changes in the short term. However, the United States still has a chance to catch up.

She pointed out that most of Ripple’s innovation takes place in Singapore, not the United States. Due to the "lack of openness" in the United States, many cryptocurrency founders have traveled to Asia and other countries in search of a fairer environment. The Asia-Pacific region provides a “stable environment” with much of the core infrastructure that promotes healthy cryptocurrency development.

Singapore, in particular, is leading the way with partners like DBS Bank, Southeast Asia’s largest bank, encouraged by regulators to work with responsible Web3 companies. This is not just a matter of regulations, but a comprehensive ecosystem.

🚀Despite the complex market environment, Bitcoin is still the focus of our optimism and we look forward to more innovations and breakthroughs!
