🇺🇸 The US is lagging behind in crypto, despite election hopes but short-term change is unlikely, says Fiona Murray, head of Ripple APAC.

📍 Murray at Token2049 Singapore: Most of Ripple's innovation is happening in Singapore, not the US. 'Lack of open-mindedness' drives many crypto founders to Asia.

🌏 APAC offers a stable environment, good infrastructure for crypto development. Singapore-based DBS Bank leads the way, encouraged to partner with Web3 company.

🇺🇸 Trump may be the first US president to buy a burger with Bitcoin, but Murray doubts the election will change the industry quickly.

💬 Murray: "Banks need support to grow the Web3 community."

⏳ Still, Murray believes regulatory clarity and infrastructure will come to the US, it's just a matter of time.
