Germany's Frankfurt Attorney General's Office (Generalstaatsanwaltschaft) and the country's Federal Criminal Police Office (BKA) have closed 47 cryptocurrency exchanges suspected of being involved in criminal activities such as money laundering. The BKA stated that these exchanges deliberately failed to fulfill their obligations to conduct identity and background checks on customers, also known as KYC requirements, including exchanges such as Xchange cash, 60cek, Baksman, etc. (CoinDesk)
