Blockchain detective ZachXBT has uncovered another group of hackers who stole over $240 million worth of Bitcoin through a social engineering scam. 🎭

- In mid-August, the scammers targeted a Genesis creditor.

- They pretended to be Google and Gemini support staff, gaining access to the victim’s accounts.

- They used AnyDesk to monitor the victim’s screen and see their private key.

The result? 4,064 BTC stolen! However, the hackers were caught through their own fault. 😂

- “Wiz” was actually Veer Chetal.

- “Light” was Aakaash.

- Box and Greavys blew the money on lavish spending.
