F O M C and its importance to the financial market

Before I write further, I’m not happy about yesterday’s fomc news impact on the market because we didn’t win the way we were supposed to win and we lost an altcoin trade!!

Not fomc fault tho, I was in a haste to short $Btc forgetting the original plan was to short $Btc from 62k$ like I have been saying since 🤦🏿

The FOMC stands for Federal Open Market Committee.

This committee is the main decision making body with respect to monetary policy of the United States 🇺🇸 economy.

There are 8 FOMC meetings a year and they are very important because decisions made and in general, the outcome of these meetings have high impact on the financial market. This is so because investors and traders take these outcomes seriously and react to them.

So, as a trader or investor, keep your eyes on fomc news always
