According to TechFlow, on September 18, Coindesk reported that according to two people familiar with the matter, London-based fintech company Revolut is planning to issue its own stablecoin, and the project has entered the late stage. Revolut obtained a UK banking license in July this year with a valuation of US$45 billion.

A Revolut spokesperson said the company plans to expand its cryptocurrency business, adopt a "compliance-first" strategy, and is committed to becoming a safe haven for the entire crypto community. "Cryptocurrency is an important part of our borderless banking philosophy, and our clear goal is to become the safest and most accessible crypto asset service provider," the spokesperson emphasized in an email.
