Cryptocurrency investor and developer James Fickel has traded $27 million for Ethereum (ETH).
According to data provided by on-chain analysis platform Lookonchain, Ethereum bull James Fickel was back in action on September 18.
Current data revealed that Fickel exchanged 11,584 ETH for 450 BTC worth $27 million. The cost of the investor who made this transaction on the ETH/BTC parity was recorded as 0.03881.
The whale, who believes that Ethereum will gain value against Bitcoin and has been positioning for this for a year, currently has a debt of 1,308 BTC worth $78.8 million on the decentralized exchange Aave.
The investor has so far lost 21,000 Ethereum worth $49 million by taking a long position in the BTC/ETH trading pair.
According to CoinGecko data, Ethereum, which has increased by 1% in the last 24 hours, is traded at $2,354 at the time of writing.
