Chromia sets up $20 million data and AI ecosystem fund, plans to upgrade the “Asgard”mainnet in the fourth quarter
Foresight News reported that the blockchain platform Chromia announced at TOKEN2049 Singapore the establishment of a $20 million data and artificial intelligence ecosystem fund, which will be led by Yeou Jie, the business development manager of Chromia. The fund aims to support data-intensive projects and artificial intelligence applications.
Additionally, Chromia announced plans to upgrade its "Asgard" mainnet in the fourth quarter of 2024. This upgrade will introduce custom "Extensions" that will bring new functionalities to the platform, which can be used by native Chromia DApps and external clients. The proposed extensions include oracle solutions, artificial intelligence model computation, and support for data availability and zero-knowledge proofs.
