According to ChainCatcher, Web3 cybersecurity company GoPlus issued a security alert, revealing a new scam targeting Telegram users. The scammers impersonated the official Fragment mini program and sent a high-priced acquisition proposal to the anonymous account holder through private messages. Once the user clicks on the mini program link provided by the scammer, they may unknowingly authorize the account, resulting in the theft of wallet assets.
GoPlus pointed out that since the counterfeit robot and the official mini program are almost identical in name and avatar, it is difficult for users to distinguish the authenticity. Security experts recommend that users should cross-verify through the official website, official Twitter or trusted third-party platforms to ensure transaction security.
