According to Odaily Planet Daily, Swiss private bank Bank Syz recently used the Taurus tokenization platform to tokenize the work "Dreamstime" by Swiss artist Sarah Benslimane. These Ethereum-based security tokens were not sold, but distributed to bank employees to give them ownership of the work. If employees want to trade these tokens, they can buy and sell them through the Taurus TDX market.
The initiative by Bank Syz is intended to provide Swiss banks with a learning experience on a potential solution that their wealth clients may be interested in. So far, it has provided cryptocurrency trading and custody services to its clients.
Bank Syz, which manages around 23 billion Swiss francs ($27 billion) in assets, has some high-profile banking partners, particularly in digital asset custody, serving Deutsche Bank, CACEIS and Santander, State Street.
