According to TechFlow, the Decentralized AI Alliance (DAIS) formed by eight founding members has been officially established to address the risk that technology giants may monopolize the AI industry. The eight founding members of DAIS include CETI AI, Filecoin Foundation, Bloq, Hypercycle, Morpheus, Hemi, Odyssey, and Lumerin.

DAIS Chairman Michael Casey was previously the Chief Content Officer of CoinDesk and Chairman of the Consensus Conference. Casey said during the Token2049 blockchain conference in Singapore that the decentralized AI community recognizes that centralized platforms have gained a huge first-mover advantage in the AI era, owning all the data, computing power, and even controlling regulators.

The organization plans to address challenges in four areas: introducing capital to decentralized AI, participating in the formulation of AI regulatory policies, promoting decentralized AI education, and developing new algorithms for distributed learning models.
