Preparing for the possible FED rate cut on Wednesday. Which cryptocurrencies are we buying?
So, I'm about 99% sure that the Fed will cut interest rates by 50 basis points. If that happens, Bitcoin, Ethereum, etc. will all skyrocket shortly thereafter.
I'm talking 5%+ probably within 24 hours and then potentially for months to come. People seem to underestimate the impact that a Fed decision can have. And sure, it's already been priced in a little bit, but not entirely. Nothing will send markets like cryptos soaring like an official wink from Powell saying it's time to cut rates.
My main question I wanted to ask here is this: Which cryptocurrencies, if any, historically go up faster than BTC when BTC is doing well?
I remember seeing a few posts elsewhere on the internet that pointed out that there are some cryptocurrencies that not only mimic BTC's price, but also consistently outperform when BTC is doing well.
So are there any cryptos I'm curious about if BTC goes down and up? I've never seen any of those, but I'd be curious if there were any?
In the unlikely event that the Fed cuts rates by just 25 bps or doesn't cut at all, we'll probably see markets like crypto do poorly and fall in the coming weeks.
Can you name any cryptos you can count on when times are tough? I remember Cardano was once the only crypto in the green (2021, I believe) when we had a red day for crypto.
