An ancient Ethereum whale has been quietly selling a massive amount of ETH over the last 35 hours.
According to a Twitter post shared by on-chain data and analytics platform Spot On Chain on September 17, a well-established Ethereum whale continues its sales. In the last 35 hours, the whale sold a total of 2,364 Ethereum (ETH) and earned 5.44 million USDT from these sales.
According to the post, the whale made these sales in 27 small transactions, selling at an average of $2,302 per Ethereum with transactions of 87.56 ETH. However, the amount of Ethereum held by the whale is still very high. According to data from Spot On Chain, the whale holds 14,272 Ethereum, which is worth about $33 million. Experts say that this whale is likely to continue its sales.
According to CoinGecko data, Ethereum has gained 0.3% in the last 24-hour period and is finding buyers at $2,309 at the time of writing.
