**Florida man sentenced to 47 years in prison for cryptocurrency robbery, 12 accomplices also cannot escape the law**

The 25-year-old man named Remy Ra St Felix is from West Palm Beach. He and his accomplices stole more than $3.5 million in cryptocurrency from victims through SIM card swaps and violent burglaries. The criminal gang used plastic cables to tie up the victims, pointed guns at the victims and beat them, forcing them to provide access to computers and cryptocurrency trading accounts. Through decentralized financial platforms, they successfully stole and laundered money.
Since the end of 2020, Jarod Gabriel Seemungal from West Palm Beach and his accomplices have planned this series of burglary plans and recruited St Felix and others to assist. St Felix then became the leader of the robbery gang. In September 2022, St Felix and his accomplices began a series of violent burglaries in Florida. After determining the target, they planned in detail how to enter the house, the tools needed to commit the crime, the cryptocurrency-related technology, and the target's life pattern.
In the end, St Felix was sentenced to 47 years in prison for playing a leading role in the crime, while Seemungal was sentenced to 20 years in prison and other accomplices were sentenced to 5 to 20 years in prison.
