A total of 12 accomplices were sentenced for participating in the crime. Remy Ra St Felix, 25, of West Palm Beach, and his accomplices stole more than $3.5 million in cryptocurrencies from victims through SIM card swaps and violent burglaries. The criminal gang used plastic cables to tie up the victims, pointed guns at the victims and beat them. They forced the victims to provide access to computers and cryptocurrency trading accounts, stole cryptocurrencies through decentralized financial platforms and laundered money. Since the end of 2020, Jarod Gabriel Seemungal from West Palm Beach and his accomplices have planned the burglary plan and recruited St Felix and others to assist. St Felix has since become the leader of the robbery gang. In September 2022, St Felix and his accomplices began a series of violent burglaries in Florida. After identifying the target, the criminal gang prepared for the crime in terms of how to enter the residence, the tools needed to commit the crime, cryptocurrency-related technologies, and the target's life patterns. In the end, St Felix was sentenced to 47 years in prison for playing a leading role in the crime, Seemungal was sentenced to 20 years in prison, and other accomplices were sentenced to 5 to 20 years in prison.
