Binance has warned of a new malware called “Clipperware” that targets cryptocurrency users. The software manipulates the addresses you copy to your withdrawal wallets, replacing the original address with one controlled by the hacker. The result? Instead of the money going to the recipient’s wallet, it ends up in the hacker’s wallet, exposing users to significant losses.
