The United States may suspend about $5.8 billion in aid to Ukraine due to disagreements in Congress over the debt ceiling, the Associated Press reports.
The funds are intended to extend the Presidential Drawdown Authority, a program that allows the Pentagon to send weapons and equipment from U.S. military stockpiles to Ukraine.
