Binance, the world’s largest cryptocurrency exchange, has unveiled its latest Launchpool project, signaling another exciting development for the crypto community.

New Binance Launchpool Project: Hamster Kombat (HMSTR)

According to the official announcement from Binance, the exchange is set to launch Hamster Kombat (HMSTR) through its Launchpool and Super Earn programs. The project’s web page is expected to go live within 24 hours before the official Launchpool begins. Users will be able to stake BNB and FDUSD to earn HMSTR airdrops within a seven-day period. Notably, mining will commence on 19th September 2024, at 03:00 UK time.

Binance has also confirmed that HMSTR will be officially listed on 26th September 2024, at 15:00 UK time, with trading pairs including HMSTR/USDT, HMSTR/BNB, HMSTR/FDUSD, and HMSTR/TRY. The exchange will label the token with a “seed” tag, indicating early-stage support. Additionally, users will have the opportunity to lock HMSTR in the Simple Earn Lock product to enjoy a special annual interest rate.

BitGet to List HMSTR Token on 26th September

In parallel, the major crypto exchange BitGet has also announced its plans to list Hamster Kombat (HMSTR) on 26th September 2024. Prior to its launch on BitGet, HMSTR will already have appeared on the lists of Bybit and OKX, which are both prominent exchanges. On 11th September, Hamster Kombat confirmed the token’s listing on BitGet, marking an important milestone as it aims to facilitate a smooth and successful launch, with expectations of significant trading volume.

When HMSTR goes live on 26th September, users will be able to trade the token alongside other cryptocurrencies on these platforms. Both Bybit and OKX have confirmed that HMSTR will be available for spot trading, welcoming both experienced traders and newcomers to the market. As of yet, BitGet has not confirmed whether the token will be listed on spot or futures markets. Experts expect that the visibility and trading activity for HMSTR will benefit from the liquidity provided by these exchanges.

Binance Supports FIRO Network Upgrade

As reported by The Bit Journal, Binance is also preparing to support the upcoming FIRO network upgrade and hard fork. According to the official announcement on 12th September, the exchange will halt deposits and withdrawals for FIRO starting on 16th September 2024, at 07:00 UK time. This is part of Binance’s efforts to ensure a seamless user experience during the upgrade, which is scheduled to occur at block height 958,655, around 16th September 2024, at 08:00 UK time.

Binance has highlighted that this move is aimed at providing the best possible user experience during the network upgrade, ensuring security and smooth transitions during this process.
