❗️$SUI Deal — A Skeptic's View❗️
Many analysts and bloggers recommend investing in SUI, seeing it as promising for portfolio investing. However, let's put aside all the marketing hype and examine the project critically.
SUI's Advantages and Their Drawbacks:
✔️ Scalability: The platform promises excellent scalability, but it hasn't been tested under significant load like TON or Solana, which faced issues.
✔️ Low Fees: The competition in low fees is fierce, and examples like Arbitrum show that low fees don't guarantee stable price growth.
✔️ Support for DeFi and NFT: The competition in these segments is high, and current projects on SUI have relatively small ecosystems and trading volumes.
✔️ Transaction Speed: High speed is good, but there are already many Layer-1 solutions with comparable characteristics.
✔️ Consensus: Narwhal and Bullshark are unique technologies, but the Move programming language and consensus features aren't discussed.
✔️ Support from Large Funds: Support from large funds exists, but it doesn't always guarantee token price growth.
Tokenomics:
27% of the tokens are already unlocked, with the rest in staking. With the current high price and a market cap of $8.8 billion, further token unlocks could lower the token price if the market ends up with twice as many tokens.
