📢【Latest News】The U.S. District Court for the District of Colorado dismissed the class action lawsuit against Estonian crypto wallet Atomic Wallet!
🌐Recently, Philip Brimmer, a judge in the U.S. District Court for the District of Colorado, announced the dismissal of the class action lawsuit against Atomic Wallet, an Estonian cryptocurrency wallet provider. The court found that it lacked jurisdiction over Atomic Wallet and its senior management.
💼The lawsuit stems from the approximately $100 million hacking attack on Atomic Wallet in June 2023. However, Judge Brimmer pointed out that the connection between Atomic Wallet and Colorado was not sufficient to constitute the court's jurisdiction over the company.
🔍The judge particularly emphasized that because Atomic Wallet provides software application services, it is difficult for the company to determine the specific geographic location of users. The court gave the plaintiff an additional 21 days to provide reasons why the lawsuit against Ilia Brusov, one of the founders of Evercode Infinite, should not be dismissed.
