I was invited to Hong Kong in August. Many friends saw my updates on WeChat Moments and invited me to go with them, so I stayed in Guangdong in August.
A guy in Huidong told me in 2023 that he was in debt of 1 million yuan and his family was about to have problems. He wanted to learn from me how to get airdrops. I saw that he was not a gambler, so I decided to help him. In 2023, the guy worked with me for a year. After he got out of the water in the first half of the year, he returned to Huidong to work on Pinduoduo. He now has a monthly profit of 60,000 yuan, which is a complete turnaround.
After arriving in Huidong, the guy built Pinduoduo at zero cost in just three months. His current monthly income is 60,000 yuan. Let’s see how he did it.
I am CryptoDog, a not very active Twitter blogger. I started to play with airdrops 19 years ago, and at that time I made enough money to brag about for the rest of my life. After I made the money, I started bragging about it everywhere, and after I boasted too much, a bunch of people gathered around me.
Later, I brought a group of people to play blockchain games and became the largest blockchain game community in China (no doubt about it).
During the period from 2019 to 2021, we helped at least 40 people to buy properties in Shenzhen, and helped countless people to pay off their debts.
✅ How did I think of going to Huidong?
In August, I casually posted a message "Arrival in Hong Kong" on my Moments in Hong Kong. When I went to bed at night, my Moments exploded. Many of my friends in Guangdong asked me to visit them.
The guy from Huidong used to study in Wuhan and later stayed in Wuhan. When he joined the circle, he told me that he owed 1 million yuan and now he has a family crisis, so he asked me to take him with him. I saw that he was not a gambler, so I agreed to take him with me so that he could pay off his debt quickly.
The guy started to participate in airdrops with me in 2023, and after he got all the $STARK in the first half of 2024, his 1 million debt was basically paid off. He told me: I have been doing this for a year with fear and trepidation, and now I am really tired and want to do something practical.
I asked him if he had thought about what kind of business he could start with the remaining 300,000 yuan, otherwise he would fall back into poverty again... This is also [Shenyu's way of survival in the cryptocurrency circle], and I have been following this for 6 years.
Later the young man left and went back to Huidong, saying he was going to sell shoes.
This time when he saw me in Hong Kong, he asked me to go to Huidong for a trip.
✅ Brother's venue
The young man rented a 300-square-meter house in Huidong. The outer hall is a warehouse + workshop, and the inside is the living area, where the whole family lives.
When I went to his place, the hall was already full, with shoes piled up everywhere (as shown in the video). I have never done warehousing, so I don't know what the scale is. If there are people doing warehousing or e-commerce, please give me some advice.
✅ The business status of the young man
When I arrived at the guy's place, it was exactly four or five o'clock. They were packing and placing the labeled items in the lower left corner. On the table, the guy's wife was pasting the delivery note.
The items in the package that have not been unpacked are those that have been ordered from Pinduoduo and resent by the manufacturer, but the delivery note has not been posted yet.
The picture below shows the brother's orders for one day, about 100 pieces. The brother told me that the sales volume is relatively poor, and 200 pieces are sold when it is good.
✅ Profit calculation
Profit calculation Here, I only count what I see, which is 100 pairs of sales per day:
🔸Shoes sold on Pinduoduo: 68-88 a pair;
🔸Factory cost: 10-28 per pair;
🔸Single-day gross profit: 4000={(68-28)*100}
🔸Monthly gross income: 120000=4000*30
The above is the gross income. Don’t be too picky. This does not include shipping costs + shipping insurance + returns. For the net income, readers can simply divide it in half.
✅ Conventional business model
🔸0 cost to purchase goods: There is an industrial park in Huidong, which has many shoe factories and e-commerce teams. The e-commerce teams can purchase goods from the shoe factories on credit and settle accounts after selling them;
🔸Where are the risks: Although you can get monthly/quarterly settlement from the manufacturer, you cannot return the goods to the manufacturer after the buyer returns them, unless the factory is owned by your family. After the buyer returns the goods, you can either continue to sell them or go to the manufacturer to exchange the money. Of course, you can sell them at a low price to those who are collecting the remaining goods. The risk here is the inventory cost.
🔸Operational skills: You see, although the manufacturer can settle monthly/quarterly, the e-commerce team settles according to the manufacturer's delivery order, so you cannot return unsold goods to the manufacturer, you can only exchange the money.
Therefore, there are certain requirements for e-commerce operations. If you don’t know how to select products, or you can’t get along there, and the manufacturer gives you goods that can’t be sold, you will suffer a huge loss. Therefore, sellers still need to have a certain control over the market.
✅ 0 cost business model
After the young man went to Huidong, the education there was not very good, so he sent his child to a private school. After paying the tuition, he had only tens of thousands of yuan in his hands. Obviously, he could not do market research, hit the board, and place orders.
So he did another one, which he called: "0 cost model", that is, "taking goods"
There are many small workshops and small sellers there, and they all make imitations of big factories. Every morning, the guy goes to the warehouse of the small workshop to take pictures, and then uploads them to his own store when he comes back;
When someone places an order, we send the order to that store and ask them to pack and ship the goods. In other words, we help them sell the goods and get paid in commission. A pair of shoes that costs 28 yuan at the factory will have a settlement cost of almost 40 yuan.
This went on for three months, and I finally managed to build my own store and start making money.
While running around the warehouse, the guy found that a new model of shoes had just come out and was being sold by only a few sellers. After he took the product to his own store and invested some traffic, sales suddenly increased.
After the guy made money, he looked for small factories to cooperate with. He found models on e-commerce platforms (their industry seems to call it "follow selling") and asked small factories to imitate them. In order to avoid being sued, he asked the small factories to add buttons, flowers and other decorations based on the originals.
In just a few months, he was able to buy goods from manufacturers by selling on behalf of others, following others, and selling on credit. His monthly income was much higher than before he went to work, and at least his spouse didn't have to work in two different places. I felt very happy.
✅ The above is a true event, which may subvert everyone's view of the money-grubbing people in the cryptocurrency circle. They are working diligently in the airdrop circle, and after paying off their debts, they can still work steadily in the real world.
Moreover, in the high-execution environment of the airdrop circle, they have developed a strict discipline in accepting and absorbing new things. When they encounter something they have never done before, they can quickly find an execution plan.
