ChainCatcher reported that online brokerage platform Robinhood launched a stock lending program in the UK on Wednesday, allowing British consumers to earn passive income through their stocks, the latest move by the company to expand its overseas market share. The stock trading app, which launched in the UK in November last year after two previous attempts to enter the UK market, said its new feature will allow British retail investors to lend any stocks held in their portfolios directly to interested borrowers.
