CoinVoice recently learned that according to the August phishing report released by ScamSniffer, about 9,145 victims lost about $63 million in cryptocurrency phishing scams. Compared with July, the number of victims decreased by 34%, but the amount of stolen money surged by 215%. One victim lost up to $55 million in a phishing scam targeting proxy ownership.
