The number of crypto millionaires increased by 95% in one year.

While more than 172,000 people are said to be crypto millionaires, only 28 are billionaires.

Do cryptocurrencies make you rich? According to a Henley & Partners report, titled Crypto Wealth Report 2024 and published on August 27, 172,300 people now hold "more than one million dollars in crypto assets". This represents a 95% increase compared to last year.

In detail, 85,400 people would hold more than one million dollars in bitcoin as of June 30, 2024, the date on which the survey was stopped. This represents an increase of 111% compared to last year. The number of investors holding more than 100 million dollars in bitcoin increased by 100% year-on-year while those holding more than 1 billion dollars of bitcoin increased by 83%.
