In a statement to Crypto-Gifts on August 28, DecideAI said it has launched OpenAI's GPT-2 model on the blockchain. The model was released in 2019 and is the second in a series of OpenAI GPT models.
The company's founder and CEO, Rahil Govindji, explained that the goal of the project is to test new ways to train, maintain, and deploy AI models for use in various industries.
The company expects that future models could help in a number of areas, such as healthcare, analyzing patient data, and providing treatment recommendations. Govindji added that decentralized AI could help address the inherent trust issues and privacy concerns in technology. DecideAI added that the financial and education sectors could use these models to enhance fraud detection and help train data and update models in a verifiable manner on the network.
