According to Foresight News, CME will launch Bitcoin Friday futures (BFF) on September 30, 2024, with each BFF contract representing 1/50 of a Bitcoin. These shorter-term contracts expire every Friday at 4:00 and are settled based on the New York variant of the CME CF Bitcoin reference price, which may be closer to the spot price of Bitcoin.
