🚀 Crypto News: Coinbase & Blockdaemon Launch NORS Standard for ETH Node Operators, Aiming to Attract Institutional Investors to Ethereum Staking! 🌐

📅 On August 27, the Node Operator Risk Standard (NORS) was officially launched, helping ETH node operators get certified under strict criteria.

🔒 Evan Weiss (Alluvial) shared: "Building security standards that align with the expectations of financial institutions is an important step towards making blockchain technology more accessible."

📊 Node operators seeking NORS certification will be assessed by independent auditors against 6 criteria in the Risk Management Matrix (RCM).

💼 Although ETH ETFs have launched in the US, staking has not been mentioned yet. However, the amount of ETH staking has been increasing steadily every year since 2021.

📉 Lachlan Feeney (Labrys) believes that the current ETH staking interest rate (2.06%) is lower than the returns from other assets, making organizations less interested.

💡 Jaydeep Korde (Launchnodes) commented: "Staking is a new field, many institutional investors are still learning."

🤝 NORS was developed by companies such as Alluvial, Blockdaemon, Coinbase, and many other partners, to meet the auditing standards of large organizations.
