The Shiba Inu ecosystem has grown even further with releasing the closed beta for the Shiba Eternity. This is its first game on the Shibarium blockchain.

Marketing head Lucie unveiled the plan and what the Shiba Inu enthusiasts will get in the game in a post on X today, an important step the meme coin takes before it offers real utility to its holders.

Shiba Inu receives its first shibarium-based game

In her announcement, Lucie lays down the changes they are implementing from the ground up from the previous game they produced.

Attention Leash Stakers! Main net for Shiba Eternity: the closed beta is available now. Lucie said this is not the old game with a few tweaks – this is Web3 in full swing, which brings significant improvements.

It now runs on Shibarium mainnet, which allows nonfungible tokens or ‘NFT.’ This integration decentralizes gaming, with players’ inventory cards represented as NFTs, allowing for verifiable ownership and traceability within the Cardano ecosystem.

The core of the game’s architecture is developed on the now-used Shibarium blockchain. This transition ensures fast and safe gaming, with blockchain services to manage assets and transactions.

Furthermore, in Shiba Eternity, it is also possible to start a competitive ranked mode consisting of 15-day battles.

In these tournaments, the positions a player occupies are vital in determining the rewards in proportion to the positions they get. For the 25 best players of the ranked mode, additional tournaments may be based on the season and contain various bonuses.

Equally importantly, the game has received some general improvements: the tutorial has received a new coat, the menu interface is cleaner, the armory is less cluttered, and the game speed is significantly less jerky.

The new reward system provides better quests, faster leveling up in the game, and welcome bonuses for those transferring from the Web2 versions.

Release Schedule of Shiba Eternity

Early users can only access Shiba Eternity’s closed beta today, August 21, if they staked LEASH tokens. Participants can link their intelligent wallets to the ShibaSwap to interact with the game. The early access phase is thus a way to get feedback and ensure the game is stable before releasing it broadly.

On September 5, 2024, it will be live for the holders of particular NFTs in the Shiba Inu fraternity, including The Shiboshis and The Shiba Eternity Lore. Although the launch date of the open beta has yet to be clarified. No LEASH or NFTs? No worries! Lucie said the open beta is on the way to launch, allowing anyone to enter the Dogjo.

Lucie also issued a security warning and emphasized the importance of vigilance against scams. She also notes that one can highlight the scam issue. Present it to me! Do not connect your wallet to scammers through a third-party app; always connect it through official platforms.
