The lawyers in the well-known lawsuit claim that Binance played a key role in allowing stolen funds to flow through its platform, a practice they say is part of an illegal, lucrative business model. Consensys attorney Bill Hughes believes the civil suit was predictable, with lawyers looking to capitalize on previous lawsuits against Binance that resulted in a settlement of more than $4.3 billion.
