Bitcoin maximalist and JAN3 CEO Samson Mow recently responded to a post by Musk on the X platform discussing the declining birth rate around the world. Mow believes that widespread adoption of Bitcoin could help solve this global problem. He said: "Fiat currency brings despair, while Bitcoin is the hope of the future."
Musk has repeatedly raised the issue of declining birth rates in the United States and other northern hemisphere countries, warning that this could have significant negative consequences. While Musk acknowledged the value of Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies, he said he would not promote cryptocurrencies on the X platform except in a joking manner or by posting memes.
Musk's Tesla Inc. purchased $1.5 billion in Bitcoin in 2021 and accepted Bitcoin as payment, but later canceled it due to concerns about environmental impact. However, Musk remains a supporter of Dogecoin and shares DOGE-related memes on the X account from time to time.
