El Salvador to train 80,000 government employees in Bitcoin.
El Salvador has reaffirmed its commitment to cryptocurrencies by announcing Bitcoin certification for 80,000 public employees.
This measure, led by The Bitcoin Office, seeks to have officials understand and use Bitcoin in their daily functions, making them ambassadors of the use of crypto in their work areas. The certification includes 160 hours of training on topics such as Bitcoin, cybersecurity, and artificial intelligence.
This initiative aligns with President Nayib Bukele's vision of turning El Salvador into a global cryptocurrency hub.
