The rise in D/ACC has increased the noise, and most of the market cap has fallen to a fraction of its peak.

This article explores six coins with the Vitalik concept. These projects have seen significant increases, with some seeing growth of hundreds or thousands of times. However, most have seen their market caps decline significantly after the initial hype died down. Recently, due to renewed interest from Vitalik Buterin, these memes have rebounded to varying degrees, but the hype has had limited potential to improve market cap.

Vitalik effect

Last weekend, Vitalik Buterin showed his influence once again. After minting a new ENS domain name, the meme coin associated with it soared in value. This sparked renewed interest in meme projects related to Vitalik’s concept.

D/ACC

Following the popularity of e/acc (efficient acceleration) in Silicon Valley, Vitalik introduced the philosophy of d/acc (defensive, decentralized, democratic, differential acceleration) in his essay “My Technological Optimism.” This concept promotes a defensive world that enhances security, reduces conflict, and supports healthy, open governance.

On August 18, Vitalik minted a new domain name for ENS, “dacc.eth,” and announced an upcoming discussion on the concept of d/acc. This attracted market funds, sending coins like D/ACC and E/ACC soaring. However, their rebound momentum is limited, and their market cap has fallen significantly from its peak.

- D/ACC Performance: It surged over 956.5% on August 18, but then pulled back. It is currently down about 67.3% from its all-time high, with a market cap of $2.5 million.

- E/ACC Performance: Up as much as 960% on the same day but has since fallen more than 97.3% from its peak, with a market cap of $257,000.

ZUZALU

In 2023, Vitalik proposed an experiment to build a new city called ZUZALU, a two-month mini-city for 200 people, with the aim of transforming online culture into physical spaces.

- ZUZALU Performance: The token price surged over 3,660x after its launch, with a market cap of over $33 million. However, it has since fallen over 95.9% from its high, with a current market cap of $1.2 million. Since August 18, ZUZALU has seen a massive surge, with a maximum rise of 124.9%.
