🚨 The Court of First Instance of Dubai recognized the legality of using cryptocurrency to pay wages in employment contracts

The case concerned an employee who claimed that his employer had failed to pay him wages, wrongful dismissal compensation and other benefits.

The employee's employment contract provided for a monthly salary in fiat money and EcoWatt tokens.

The dispute arose out of the failure of the employer to pay part of the employee's salary in tokens within six months.
