According to TechFlow, an internal audit conducted by the Korean Sport & Olympic Committee in October last year revealed multiple employee violations. An employee A used the company's corporate card to purchase beef and other items worth about 600,000 won, and embezzled a total of about 9.5 million won of public funds by forging documents and manipulating internal company emails. Among them, the employee used 3.5 million won to invest in Bitcoin.

In addition, A was found to have used a corporate card to embezzle about 4.6 million won in public funds at Japanese restaurants and other places. The Korea Sports Association has fired A and filed a complaint with law enforcement agencies on charges of embezzlement and fraud.
