Long-term holding and value investment are not the same thing! Don't confuse them.

Long-term investment means that the time is long. Value investment depends on whether this thing can grow and whether it is worth buying. Just like you started holding EOS in 2018, the time is long enough, but it has nothing to do with value investment, and it is difficult to get back the money.

When buying value investment, think about two things: Can this thing grow in the future? Is the price cheap enough now? When selling, think about three things: Has the bull market changed? Is the price too high now? Is there anything better, cheap and good?

It's that simple, and it has nothing to do with time! For example, if you buy a token and you are lucky and it rises by 300%, value investors will sell it immediately when they see that the price is high, without hesitation. But you say that value investment is long-term holding, then do you sell it if it rises by 300%? Not selling is stupid, and selling is a slap in the face!

Why do some people think that value investment is long-term investment? Because it takes time for value to return, and it often takes a long time. Buffett has only done value investing a few times, and it took a long time, so everyone misunderstood.

In fact, value investing and long-term investing, on the surface, both seem to be waiting for growth, but the difference is huge inside. One has its own valuation and trading basis, and the other is just hurt by short-term trading, going to extremes, or being forced to long-term, and finally lying down and dying.

So, brothers, no matter what the reason is for holding long-term, you must understand that swearing not to sell until the price rises is just wishful thinking. Whether it will rise in the later stage depends entirely on luck.
