According to a report by Iran International, this raid aims to stop these illegal operations that consume a massive amount of electricity, thus threatening the stability of the national grid. Indeed, more than 230,000 clandestine mining devices, devouring between 800 and 900 MW, have already been detected, which represents an energy consumption equivalent to that of the province of Markazi! 😱

But that's not all: since 2022, Iranian intelligence services have also dismantled more than 9,000 accounts linked to 454 people involved in fraudulent crypto transactions.
