PANews reported on August 14 that Bitget announced the appointment of former Binance executive Hon Ng as Chief Legal Officer (CLO). Hon Ng will play a key role in leading the company's global business development and assist Bitget in continuing to promote global compliance operations and global strategic expansion.
Hon Ng has more than 20 years of legal experience and was named one of the top 20 legal leaders in the world by the Financial Times. Prior to joining Bitget, he served as General Counsel and Head of Government Affairs and Policy at Binance. Prior to that, he worked for Uber and helped it grow from a startup to a global technology giant. Before entering the technology field, Hon Ng worked as a corporate and M&A lawyer at law firms Latham & Watkins, White & Case, and Herbert Smith Freehills.
