[Golden News] South Korean exchange Upbit recently temporarily closed its APT token service because some users deposited and cashed out fake tokens. It is reported that these fake tokens originated from the airdrop scam website ClaimAPTGift.com and are currently held by approximately 400,000 wallets. Upbit was negligent in verifying $APT token deposits, resulting in all transfers being recognized as native APT tokens. Nonetheless, Upbit resumed APT token services on Sunday night Korean time and said deposits and withdrawals were temporarily suspended.
